WMG adds Joel Real Timing as official timing and scoring partner
It is announcement season in sim racing as teams prepare for the 2018 iRacing Indianapolis 500, and the Watkins Motorsports Group is happy to add Joel Real Timing to the team as the group’s official timing and scoring partner.
Joel Real Timing (JRT) is an application to be used by iRacing teams. Known for its reliable calculations and the sheer data provided to teams, it is a must-have for the premier teams in sim racing.
“This year we are pleased to team up with Joel Guez and add Joel Real Timing to our No. 3 IndyCar team,” said WMG co-owner and driver Tanner Watkins. “We are going to put JRT through its paces with our No. 3 open-wheel operation and see if it will be a fit for Dad’s No. 8 team later in the year.
“Thus far, we are extremely happy with the support Joel and his application have provided.”
Offering an intelligent dashboard and calculation system, Joel Real Timing will allow the Watkins Motorsports Group to stream live timing and scoring to friends and family as well as an intuitive in-car display that helps the team track fuel numbers, position deltas and more.
Joel Real Timing also joins the team as an associate sponsor for WMG’s two iRacing Indianapolis 500 entries as well as the remainder of the Indy Elite Series season.
