BIOGRAPHY

“Welcome Race Fans!”

These were the first words out of my mouth more than 30 years ago, as a public address announcer at southern Oregon’s only quarter-mile dirt oval, Medford Raceway.

Those were the rousing days of the Winston Racing Series. Never to be forgotten.

Many times accompanied in the booth and pits by the oldest of my three sons, John, who now iRaces the No. 8 American Racing Team car.

Sandwiched between then and now are 27 years in professional radio broadcasting (now retired) and a continuing interest in computing technology on many platforms to this day.

So, it is an honor to bring this experience to the team at Watkins Motorsports Group and simulation auto racing.
